										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In the Admin/Config menu, select the System Administration &amp; Functional Settings tab.  If you have the Asset Management permissions, click on <span style="color: #ff6600;"><strong>Asset Types</strong></span> under the Asset Configuration section.</p>
<p>To add an asset type, click on <strong><span style="color: #ff6600;">+ Asset Type.  </span></strong></p>
<p><span style="color: #ff6600;"><span style="color: #000000;">Select a category from the dropdown list.  These categories are predefined.  Select the category of Miscellaneous if the asset is not a badge, card, key, or electronic device. </span></span></p>
<p>Enter the asset type name.</p>
<p>Enter whether the asset is re-assignable or not.  For example, a name badge would be an asset that would not be re-assignable to someone else.</p>
