Can I enter text after a signature block?

Previously, you could not have text following a signature block except by placing it in the footer.  Now there is new template style that is called “1 column Portrait Adv Sgn” to allow for adding text after the signature block.

The body of the template is divided in two sections – text above the signature block and text below the signature.  Click on the Text Below Signature to enter the text needed after the signature block.  Click on the Text Above Signature to return to the text preceding the signature block.

Correspondence History

In the Contract and Correspondence section of the personnel record is the correspondence history which is created when you select the option to save while printing or sending a correspondence from the  Letters menu.  The history shows the template name that was used, the sender, the date sent, the method sent and the status.

You can see more details of the correspondence by clicking on the View icon.  If the correspondence was sent as a pdf, click on the Envelope icon to see what email text was sent along with the pdf.

You can also delete a correspondence that might have been generated in error by clicking on the Delete icon.

Can I send a letter using a different sender name?

When sending an email or a pdf attached to an email, you can click on “From” which will display a window where you can enter the alternative sender’s name and their email address.  Keep in mind that any replies to the email will be sent to this alternative email address.
